U.S. State Privacy Notice

This U.S. State Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Terms used in this notice have the meanings given to them in the applicable state privacy law, and “Billy,” “we,” “us” and the “Services” have the meanings given in our Privacy Policy.
For information about the sources of personal information we collect, how we use it, and how long we retain it, please refer to the corresponding sections of our Privacy Policy.

Sensitive Personal Information
Some of the information we collect may be categorized as “sensitive personal information” or “sensitive data” under applicable state privacy laws, including government identification numbers, account log-in credentials, financial account and payment card information, precise geolocation, the contents of your email, messages and texts, health information, and biometric information. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the Services you request, to keep them secure, and as the law otherwise permits. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you for any other purpose. Where state law requires your consent to process sensitive data, we ask for it before we collect it, such as when you connect an account or turn on a data source, and you can withdraw it at any time by turning that source off.

No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined in state privacy laws, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information about individuals under 18.
Right to Appeal
If we deny your privacy request, you have the right to appeal our decision. To appeal, contact us at support@billylives.com with “Privacy Request Appeal” in the subject line, and include your original request and the reason you believe we should reconsider. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your state’s attorney general to file a complaint.
How to Submit a Request
You may submit a privacy request by emailing support@billylives.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request. If you have an account with us, we may verify through our existing account authentication. If you do not have an account, we may request additional personal information depending on the nature of your request.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you do, we may require proof of your authorization and may take steps to verify your identity directly.
Consumer Health Data
If you are a resident of Washington or Nevada, please review our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which supplements this notice with information about how we handle data that may be considered “consumer health data” under the Washington My Health My Data Act or Nevada SB 370.
